Some days I feel like the whimsical artist, inspired by the energy and beauty of people and the world around me. Other days, I am much more traditional, a wife and mother of three, reminded of all the blessings that this life has afforded me.
My name is Limor Katz-Evans. A native of Israel of mixed Moroccan and Eastern European descent, I now live and work in the Kansas City area. I am exceedingly proud of my heritage. It is woven into the fabric of my designs.
My designs first came to life when my daughter, Ella Klara, was born. I started decorating her nursery - a bed canopy, then fabrics for the mirror, and eventually clothing. From there my designs poured out of me.
In 2005, with gentle encouragement from my beloved friends and family, I began selling my hand crafted work. And then in 2009, I opened my first retail store, now located in the beautiful Kansas City River Market.
I must extend my sincerest gratitude to you, my clients, family and friends, for your endless support and faith. Every time you leave your house in an Ella Klara design, you shine a light of peace, love and blessings well beyond my reach. I am forever grateful.
